Artist's Comments

Terra's Maul.
The legend behind Terra's Maul was a short but intensive one. It was commissioned of the legendary blacksmith Aurion by a then-unknown barbarian who had come in a great bit of gold. He wanted a hammer that would make his enemies flee before him, that could tear the earth asunder and would look shiny for the clan meets. (No one ever said barbarians we overly burdened with great intelligence) For three weeks Aurion labored using the finest bronzed steel and sung Dwarven songs of worship to Gnome the God of Earth. When the barbarian returned he was presented with this maul. History speculates this was the maul that created the mountains blockade around Paladoria. It is now buried somewhere in an unkown cave along with its wielder. The barbarians name was Solmanic.

Just a little bit of back-story. As I release more pics like these the stories will start to come together.
Took me like 4 hours using GIMP.
